Job summary

Stellantis NV in Auburn, Alabama is seeking a Design Release Engineer - Security Gateway to drive mechanical design, packaging, software development, validation, testing and release of components.

You will interface with systems, software and validation groups to ensure all requirements, compliance and performance metrics are met, and you will conduct DFMEA/DVRR and PFMEA reviews, manage supplier activities and component changes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of engineering experience.
• Experience with embedded software development and hardware integration.

Responsibilities

• Mechanical design, development, packaging, software development, validation, testing, calibration, and releasing components.
• Interface with systems, software and validation groups to meet requirements, compliance and performance metrics.
• Develop component specifications; participate in product assurance planning; manage component suppliers.
• Conduct DFMEA, DVRR, and Timing Proactive Quality Plan.
• Support Reactive Quality Problem Solving and PFMEA reviews.
• Release components via Change Management System (CNs).
