Job summary

Stellantis Financial Services in Auburn Hills, MI, is seeking a Design Release Engineer for the Security Gateway to lead mechanical design, packaging, software development and validation of embedded components. You will interface with systems, software and validation teams to meet requirements, manage suppliers, perform DFMEA/DVRR, PFMEA, and release changes through CNs, with at least 5 years' engineering experience and a B.S.

in Electrical Engineering.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
Minimum 5 years of engineering experience.
Experience with embedded software, mechanical design and packaging.
Experience with test benches using CANoe; Ethernet and CAN/CAN-FD.
Familiarity with IP Cluster regulatory and compliance requirements.
Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (preferred).

Responsibilities

Lead mechanical design, packaging, software development and validation of embedded components.
Interface with systems, software and validation groups to meet requirements and performance metrics.
Develop component specifications; manage component suppliers.
Conduct DFMEA, DVRR, and PFMEA; participate in quality planning.
Release components via Change Management System (CNs).
