Job summary

Ann’s Choice by Erickson Senior Living is seeking a Gatehouse Officer to staff the entrance and provide exceptional customer service and hospitality while ensuring safety and security for residents and visitors. The role requires weekend shifts Saturdays and Sundays, 3:00PM–11:00PM, with compensation starting at $17/hr.

This position offers entry into a community-focused team with benefits including medical/dental/vision, PTO, 401k with a 3% match, onsite medical centers, and dining discounts.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Prior experience as a Security Gatehouse Officer preferred.
• Current and valid driver’s license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Acknowledge visitors, provide a pleasant greeting, and offer assistance at the gate.
• Screen all vehicle and pedestrian traffic entering the community.
• Provide parking passes, maps, and direct visitors to appropriate parking.
• Document visitors and vendors/contractors via the gatehouse log.
• Inform supervisor of inspectors, government representatives, process servers, and law enforcement entering the community.
• Complete incident reports using the online system.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.

Join our team as a Gatehouse Officer. In this role you will staff the Gatehouse entrance to the community and deliver exceptional customer service and hospitality, while fostering an environment of safety and security.

Schedule:

Saturday and Sunday, 3:00PM-11:00PM

How you will make an impact

• Acknowledge visitors, provide a pleasant greeting, and offer assistance as needed to all persons entering the community
• Screen all vehicle and pedestrian traffic entering the community
• Provide proper parking passes, maps, and instructs visitors to park in appropriate spaces
• Document all visitors and vendors/contractors via the standard gatehouse log in
• Inform the security and emergency services supervisor of any inspectors, government representatives, process servers, and law enforcement attempting to enter the community
• Complete thorough and detailed incident reports using our online report system
• Maintain strict confidentiality regarding all information pertaining to protected health information or any other sensitive or confidential information obtained while employed by or pertaining to the company, its employees, business information, or residents

What you will need

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Prior experience as a Security Gatehouse Officer preferred
• Current and valid driver’s license preferred
