Job summary

Ann’s Choice by Erickson Senior Living is hiring a Security and Emergency Services Officer II (EMR/EMT) for full-time and PRN roles. Shifts include 7:00AM–7:00PM and night hours. Compensation starts at $22.00/hr, commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities include patrols, gatehouse support, responding to emergencies, enforcing traffic rules, and completing detailed incident reports. Required are EMR certification, CPR, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in Security and/or Emergency Medical Services is preferred.
• Current CPR for Healthcare Providers certification.
• Current Emergency Medical Responder certification; higher level certification/licensure is acceptable as a condition of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular patrols of the property, provide relief staffing for the gatehouse, and respond to emergency and routine calls for service.
• Enforce all traffic and parking regulations.
• Respond to calls for service from dispatch and security.
• Respond to medical emergencies and provide efficient care utilizing basic interventions.
• Follow up on reports of missing items, theft, vandalism, or other potential criminal activity.
• Coordinate with local police, fire, and EMS during emergencies.
• Complete thorough and detailed incident reports using the online report system.

Join our team as a Security and Emergency Services Officer II (EMR/EMT) at our gated retirement community. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing our Security and Emergency Services programs and providing outreach within the community.

Hiring for: Full Time, and PRN positions.

Available Full-Time Shift: 7:00AM-7:00PM; Night Shift

Compensation: starting at $22.00/hr, will commensurate with experience.

How you will make an impact

What you will need

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license
• Prior experience in Security and/or Emergency Medical Services is preferred
• Proactive, vigilant and detail-oriented approaches with a strong commitment to quality, efficiency and effectiveness
• Current CPR for Healthcare Providers certification
• Current Emergency Medical Responder certification. (Higher level certification/licensure is acceptable as a condition of hire, however, new hires will be required to obtain EMR certification within 30 days).
