Job summary

Allegria Village in Dearborn is hiring a Gatehouse Attendant for our security team on campus. You will log visitors, residents, and staff, direct traffic, and perform rounds to maintain safety.

The role requires First Aid/CPR experience, a minimum of six months security experience, a valid driver’s license, and strong communication and observation skills. Independent work and alertness during shifts are essential.

Qualifications

• First Aid and CPR experience required.

• Valid driver's license and ability to operate security vehicle on campus.

• Ability to work independently and stay alert during shifts.

Responsibilities

• Log visitors, residents, and employees entering/exiting the property.
• Direct traffic on campus for safe movement.
• Conduct daily rounds of the building and grounds.
• Submit Daily Rounds Reports and incident reports as needed.
• Patrol the property for security/compliance.
• Complete incident reports for medical, theft, accidents, or emergencies.
• Respond to medical emergencies and other incidents on campus.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

We are currently seeking a Gatehouse Attendant to join our security team at Allegria Village, a comprehensive Senior Living Community offering Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Skilled Nursing—all on one campus. This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of a dynamic team dedicated to the safety and security of our residents, employees, and visitors.

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for logging visitors, residents, and employees entering and exiting the property.

• Directs traffic on campus property to ensure safe and efficient movement.

• Conducts daily rounds of the building and surrounding grounds.

• Completes Daily Rounds Reports and submits incident reports as necessary.

• Continuously patrols the property and facilities to ensure security and compliance.

• CompletesIncident Reports for medical response calls, theft of property, accidents, fires, mechanical malfunctions, emergencies, and rule violations.

• Responds promptly to medical emergencies and other incidents on campus.

• Performs additional duties as assigned by management to support the effective operation of the community.

Requirements:

• First Aid and CPR experience is REQUIRED

• MUST have at least 6 months of security experience.

• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate the security vehicle on campus.

• Strong communication and observation skills.

• Ability to work independently and remain alert during shifts.

Available Shifts:

• Day Shift (7AM-3:30PM)
