Allied Universal in Hutchins, TX is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time to provide reliable, flexible hours at a designated site. You will deliver customer service, screen belongings, monitor access, and respond calmly to incidents while adhering to site procedures and security policies.

Qualifications

• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors, and personnel while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies.
• Screen packages, shipments, personal belongings, and/or vehicles as directed by site procedures, documenting findings and escalating concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for employees, contractors, drivers, and visitors in accordance with location requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following emergency response procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of designated loading areas, distribution spaces, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Screening Associate in Hutchins, TX, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $16.82 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeWed10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.
