Pay rate is $15.80 per hour. Typical schedule is Day Time Sundays 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM, with anchor shifts and flexible, part-time hours up to 40 hours per week where possible.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required under federal, state and local laws.
• Drug screen required as a condition of employment.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific security procedures and emergency response activities.
• Screen individuals, vehicles, packages and items entering or leaving the distribution location.
• Monitor access points and deter unauthorized entry into restricted areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns per site procedures.
• Conduct regular patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking areas and perimeter, documenting observations.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Screener in Bryan, TX, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $15.80 / Hour

DayTimeSun07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

• Screen individuals, vehicles, packages and other items entering or leaving the distribution location in accordance with established procedures.

• Respond to incidents, alarms and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking areas and perimeter, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
