Allied Universal® is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Front Desk Driver in Richardson, TX. This role ensures a welcoming front desk presence, controls access, and supports incident response with professional customer service.

You may pick up shifts via the scheduling platform and build experience across sites while maintaining reliable, fixed anchor shifts. Pay rate is $19.50 per hour.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Front Desk Driver in Richardson, TX, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $19.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeMon07:00 AM - 03:00 PMSun07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional customer service at the front desk by greeting visitors, verifying appointments, and directing guests in accordance with site‑specific procedures.
• Monitor access to the location, manage visitor sign-in processes, and issue or retrieve visitor credentials as authorized.
• Answer incoming calls, relay information to appropriate personnel, and maintain a professional, welcoming presence in a financial services office environment.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Maintain accurate visitor, delivery, and incident documentation and report security‑related concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
