Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time at a Richardson, TX site. This role offers reliable, fixed shifts with the option to pick up additional hours via our scheduling platform, designed to supplement income and build toward a full-time schedule.

Pay rate is $19.38 per hour. The position supports part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to advance through paid training programs.

Qualifications

• Guard Card or license preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required under federal, state and local laws.
• Drug screen required as permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors at a financial institution reception area while following site-specific procedures.
• Manage front desk access by greeting visitors, verifying IDs, issuing visitor credentials, and directing guests.
• Monitor entry activity, alarm panels, cameras, and other security systems and report concerns to leadership.
• Respond to incidents and requests for assistance calmly and professionally per emergency procedures.
• Maintain accurate visitor logs and incident documentation and communicate with client representatives.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Reception Communications in Richardson, TX, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $19.38 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeSat02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work Part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking Part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors at a financial institution reception area while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Manage front desk access by greeting visitors, verifying identification and appointments, issuing visitor credentials, and directing guests in accordance with site requirements.
• Monitor entry activity, alarm panels, cameras, and/or other assigned security-related systems; report unusual activity or access concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, requests for assistance, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Maintain accurate visitor logs, access records, and incident documentation while communicating professionally with client representatives and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
