Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Professional Flex Officer to serve and safeguard clients across healthcare, education, finance, and more. You’ll use our shift-pickup platform to view and claim open shifts based on availability, building a schedule that fits your life while gaining site experience.

This role may require irregular shifts with little advance notice and requires a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work 18+ years; prior experience

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Licensing requirements may apply per state/local laws.
• Valid driver’s license if operating a company or client vehicle.
• Background check and drug screening required by Allied Universal.
• No prior experience required.
• Must be 18+ years old (21 if armed in some states).
• Ability to adapt to different post assignments and operate radio/console.
• Strong verbal and written communication with the public.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Monitor entrances and exits and restrict access as required.
• Respond to alarms and contact authorities if needed.
• Warn violators and enforce site rules and safety procedures.
• Prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activity.
• Assist customers, employees, and visitors professionally.
• Make emergency notifications according to site Post Orders.
