Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer – Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol in Plano, TX. The role offers flexible hours with fixed anchor shifts and options to pick up extra shifts via our scheduling platform. Pay rate is $20.59 per hour, with a schedule including DayTime Wed 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years in security, CPR preferred, and strong customer service skills. Requires HS diploma; background check and drug screen apply.

Responsibilities

• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of assigned facilities and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access to designated areas and verify credentials as directed.
• Complete accurate reports, logs, and incident documentation and communicate with supervision.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol CPR Assistance in Plano, TX, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $20.59 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeWed11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.


• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.


• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following established post orders and escalation procedures.


• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned facilities, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.


• Monitor access to designated areas, verify credentials as directed, and maintain awareness of visitor, contractor, and delivery activity.


• Complete accurate reports, logs, and incident documentation, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal supervision and site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 2 years of security‑related experience is required.


• CPR certification is preferred.


• Access control and badge experience is preferred.


• Customer service experience is preferred.


• Comfortably using a computer or tablet is preferred.


• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.


• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.


• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.


• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
