Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol Operations in Plano, TX. This role offers reliable, fixed anchor shifts with the possibility to pick up additional shifts through our scheduling platform, enabling earnings growth while staying flexible.

You will patrol, monitor access, and respond to incidents at an aerospace/defense site, while maintaining logs and reports. The pay rate is $20.59 per hour, with a schedule that includes night shifts.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of security-related experience.
• State/county/city-issued security license preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check and drug screening as required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at an aerospace and defense location by following security procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, aircraft-adjacent areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access control points and verify credentials to deter unauthorized entry.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain activity logs for patrols and incidents.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol Operations in Plano, TX, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $20.59 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeThur11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, aircraft-adjacent areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations, reporting unusual conditions and potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor access control points and verify credentials in accordance with site procedures, helping to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain required activity logs for patrols, incidents, visitor interactions, and other security-related events.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least two years of security-related experience is required.
• A state, county, or city-issued security professional license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
