Securitas, Inc. in Plainfield, IL is seeking a Security Officer with flexible shifts across multiple client sites. The role offers training and development paths within a nationwide security team.

You will perform access control, patrols, and incident response while engaging with clients and guests in a professional manner. The position emphasizes integrity, vigilance, and helpfulness, with comprehensive benefits and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license and clear driving record.
• High school diploma or GED, or ability to complete GED within 6 months.
• Standard computer skills.
• Customer service background preferred.
• CPR certification preferred (provided).
• Prior Security, Law Enforcement or Military experience a plus.
• Ability to interact with a wide range of individuals professionally.
• Strong attention to detail and vigilance during shifts.
• Pre-employment screening including drug test and background check required.

Responsibilities

• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.

• Set up barriers / signage and provide direction or information to others.
• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.

Schedule: Flexible / Multiple shifts available at various client sites

Location: Plainfield, IL

Pay: $18.71/Hour

What Your Day May Look Like:
