Job summary

Loyal Source is seeking a skilled Fire & Security Technician to support the Louisville, KY installations and service across intrusions, CCTV, access control, and fire alarm systems. The role emphasizes troubleshooting, commissioning, and documentation for commercial and banking environments.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Bosch, DMP, Alarm.com, Hikvision, Hanwha, Avigilon, Edwards, and Honeywell platforms, plus a valid driver's license to travel locally.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Fire Alarm, Security, or Low Voltage Technician.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities.
• Ability to read and interpret system drawings, blueprints, and technical documentation.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple service calls and projects.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, troubleshoot, and maintain intrusion detection systems.
• Perform installation and service work for ATM/ITM banking security and intrusion systems.
• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot CCTV/video surveillance systems.
• Install, inspect, service, and repair commercial fire alarm systems.
• Install and support access control systems, including hardware and software configuration.
• Conduct system testing, programming, and commissioning of fire and security systems.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently and accurately.
• Complete project documentation, service reports, and compliance records.
• Ensure all work is performed in accordance with applicable codes, regulations, company standards, and customer requirements.
• Travel locally as needed to support customer sites and installation projects.

Position Overview

Loyal Source is seeking a skilled and experienced Fire & Security Technician to join our National Installation Account team in Louisville, Kentucky. This position is ideal for a motivated technician with a strong background in installation, service, troubleshooting, and maintenance of intrusion detection, fire alarm, video surveillance, and access control systems across commercial and banking environments.

The successful candidate will possess hands‑on experience with multiple security and life safety platforms and demonstrate a commitment to delivering exceptional service and technical expertise to our clients.

Pay:

$34 hourly
