Job summary

EagleBank is seeking an Information Security Manager in Silver Spring, MD, to lead a team of engineers and own security engineering across applications and networks. You will manage risk, drive security projects, and ensure confidentiality, integrity, and availability of critical systems.

The role requires 10+ years in information security with strong AD, Defender, and cloud security knowledge. It includes leadership responsibilities and collaboration with IT Operations and vendors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in CS/IS/IT or related field (or equivalent).
• 10 years in information security operations/engineering/administration.
• 8 years in implementing/integrating security tech.
• 8 years in Microsoft security environment with AD/Intune/Azure.
• 4 years leading a technical team.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of five Information Security Engineers.
• Identify and remediate risks related to Bank IT infrastructure.
• Manage security projects with engineers, vendors, and consultants.
• Document and troubleshoot security tool configurations and architecture.
• Collaborate with CISO to mature engineering capabilities and processes.
• Act as backup Incident Response lead and coordinate with teams.
• Work with MSPs and network admins to resolve issues and investigate incidents.
• Distribute action items from security reports to support teams.
