Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. in the United States seeks a Senior Manager of Security Engineering to lead AVMS and scale our vulnerability management across Amazon and AWS.

You will guide a cross-functional team of security and software practitioners, develop new detection and remediation frameworks, and drive data-driven risk decisions that protect customers while enabling innovative products.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on security engineering experience.
• 10+ years of risk assessment and enabling organizations making security decisions.
• 10+ years of team management and coaching experience.
• 10+ years of communicating technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Manage the detection and mitigation framework of the Amazon vulnerability management system.
• Create vision, charters, mechanisms, processes, and solutions to detect and resolve vulnerabilities.
• Work across multiple security and software teams to drive secure solutions.
