Job summary

Amazon Security in Austin, TX is seeking a Senior Manager of Security Engineering to lead the Vulnerability Management Service (AVMS) at scale. You will drive detection, mitigation, and remediation across Amazon’s assets, including IoT and devices, partnering with software and hardware teams to secure customer experiences.

You will shape the vision, build processes, and manage a diverse team of security and software practitioners to reduce risk using data-driven insights and innovative detection

Qualifications

10+ years of hands-on security engineering experience.
10+ years of risk assessment and enabling organizations making security decisions experience.
10+ years of team management and building experience.
10+ years of communicating technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Responsibilities

Manage the detection and mitigation framework of the vulnerability management system.
Create vision, charters, mechanisms, processes, and solutions to detect and resolve vulnerabilities across Amazon.
Lead cross-functional security and software teams to drive outcomes.
