Job summary

Digital Harbor, Inc. seeks a hands-on Head of Security Engineering to lead security across our SaaS platform, cloud infrastructure, and internal operations. You will shape practical security practices that enable product delivery while maintaining strong risk controls.

You will partner with Engineering, Product, and the executive team to drive security-by-design, build scalable guardrails, and mentor engineers as the company scales in a fast-moving cloud-native environment.

Qualifications

• 6–9+ years in Security Engineering, DevSecOps, or related fields.
• Experience securing modern SaaS and cloud-native applications.
• Experience in software product companies and cross-functional collaboration.
• Proven ability to lead security initiatives and partner with Engineering, Product, and DevOps.
• Experience with AWS and/or GCP.

Responsibilities

• Lead security-by-design across product, cloud, and operations.
• Partner with Engineering, Product, and Leadership to drive security roadmap.
• Embed security controls into CI/CD and IaC.
• Oversee incident response and threat monitoring.
• Mentor engineers and build scalable security program.
