Job summary

Echelon Risk + Cyber is seeking a hands-on Manager, Security Engineering to lead a team of Senior Security Engineers within our MSSP Services. You will manage performance, guide career development, and drive client engagements with integrity.

Responsibilities include security assessments, cloud security (Azure and AWS), CSPM tooling, IAM, DLP, and incident response. Strong leadership and communication are essential; US work authorization is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
• Certifications: CCSP, CISSP, CEH, CISM or similar.
• 5+ years as a Senior Security Engineer or equivalent in MSP/MSSP.
• 2+ years of direct people management experience.
• Authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Directly manage a team of Senior Security Engineers and oversee performance and development.
• Lead staffing, onboarding, and ramp planning for new engineers.
• Carry your own portfolio of client engagements and enforce security policies.
• Oversee security operations including SIEM, MDR, and IDS/IPS for client accounts.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security across IT infrastructure.
