Job summary

Xcelerate Solutions seeks a Security Engineer Architect Lead to drive security in cloud and on-premise environments, coordinating RMF and ATO across multiple Task Orders for the DOMEX platform. You will guide teams, enforce best practices, and interact with key DoD/IC stakeholders while maintaining strong security postures.

Ideal candidates hold TS/SCI with poly, CISSP or equivalent, and extensive RMF/IA experience, with a track record in Agile/SAFe and DevSecOps contexts.

Qualifications

• BS degree and 15+ years of relevant experience or Masters with 12+ years.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with ability to obtain/maintain Polygraph.
• DoD 8570.01-M IASAE Level II certs: CISSP, CISSP-ISSAP, CISSP-ISSEP, CSSLP, CASP+ CE.
• Familiarity with NIST SP 800-27/30/37/53/60.
• Experience supporting RMF/ATO for DoD/IC systems.
• Experience with incident response, POA&Ms, risk and vulnerability management.
• Experience establishing SSE management integrating controls into systems.
• Experience managing Cyber Security Engineers and ISSOs.
• Experience using Tenable Security Center and related components.
• Experience with Linux, Windows, firewalls, gateways, proxies, VPCs, PKI.

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight of the DTP Security Team across multiple Task Orders.
• Offer technical guidance and security solutions to team members.
• Interact with DIA CIO and NDOC Security POCs.
• Create, improve, and maintain security policies and procedures.
• Lead OS hardening and patching per DISA STIGs and NIST standards.
• Analyze security incidents and recommend resolutions.
• Serve as Product Owner for the Security Engineering Team.
• Prioritize projects, deliverables and deadlines.
• Foster collaboration to deliver high-quality service and product.
