LiveKit is hiring a Security Engineer to lead vulnerability management and security operations. You will own this program end to end, collaborating with security, IT, and compliance, and shaping an early program as the company scales.

You will implement scanning tooling, automate triage and remediation workflows, and build dashboards to surface risks to engineering and leadership, while supporting compliance initiatives.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in security engineering, security operations or software engineering
• Hands-on experience building or running a vulnerability management program or software security tooling (SCA, container, cloud or host scanning)
• Engineering-first approach to triage and remediation
• Judgment to set a finding's real severity using CVSS
• Strong scripting and automation skills in Go or Python; comfortable with Terraform
• Pragmatic approach to risk explainability to business

Responsabilités

• Select, deploy and operationalize scanning tooling across production assets.
• Run vulnerability management end to end: triage, severity, owner assignment, SLAs and reporting.
• Build engineering-first triage and remediation workflows and automate routing.
• Build a remediation dashboard for engineering and leadership.
• Automate collection of vulnerability management evidence for compliance.
• Build automation and agentic tooling to reduce manual security ops work
