Job summary

LiveKit is hiring an Infrastructure Security Engineer to improve the security of our cloud production platform. You will own core parts of the program from day one, focusing on posture, guardrails, and scalable security practices.

You will work with Terraform, AWS and Kubernetes to secure infrastructure, implement automation, and support PCI-DSS/ISO 27001 audits. This role requires a pragmatic, builder/breaker mindset and strong communication.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in security or infrastructure security roles.
• Hands-on with major cloud providers (AWS, GCP or Azure) and containerized workloads (Kubernetes).
• Fluency with infrastructure as code (Terraform) and scripting in Go or Python.

Responsibilities

• Map security posture of cloud and production infra and create baseline.
• Identify prioritized security debt and close high-risk items first.
• Harden IAM, secrets, network boundaries and credential hygiene.
• Secure tenant isolation and media/recording storage for voice AI agents.
• Build secure defaults into infrastructure as code to make secure paths easy.
• Partner with Compliance to map controls to PCI-DSS and ISO 27001 and automate audits evidence.
