GuidePoint Security LLC is seeking a Security Engineer for Corporate Information Security. This role is remote across the United States and focuses on threat detection, threat intelligence, threat hunting, and event triage to continuously improve security operations with automation and AI agents.

• Requires strong triage of events with focus on accuracy and timely escalation.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and prioritize alerts, drive incidents to resolution or escalation.
• Proactively search for adversary activity and tune high-fidelity detections.
• Translate intel into detections, hunts, and response actions to reduce risk.
• Build tooling and automation code with AI coding agents.
• Contribute to detection-as-code and runbooks to improve coverage and repeatability.
• Collaborate with peers and internal customers to share knowledge and raise the bar.
• Participate in rotating on-call to support incident response outside business hours.
