Job summary

GuidePoint Security is seeking a Senior Security Automation Engineer to design, build, and operate automated security workflows across SOC environments in the United States.

You will implement SOAR-driven playbooks using Tines, Torq, or Cortex XSOAR, integrate REST APIs and JSON, and automate alert triage, escalation, and incident response. The role emphasizes scalable, secure automation and collaboration with clients and internal teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in security operations with SOC end-to-end experience.
• 3+ years designing security automation/workflows.
• Hands-on with at least one SOAR platform (Tines, Torq, or Cortex XSOAR).
• REST APIs, webhooks, and JSON proficiency.
• Python scripting for automation and data transforms.
• Experience with SIEM/EDR/XDR, ticketing (ServiceNow, Jira).
• Ability to decompose manual processes into automated workflows.
• Interest in AI tools to enhance security outcomes.
