Job summary

Amazon Security is seeking a Security Engineer to help design and build security at scale for Amazon's infrastructure. You will lead security initiatives, develop automation, and influence teams to adopt best practices across the SDLC.

The role emphasizes building scalable security solutions and improving the company's security posture across multiple domains. The successful candidate will have hands-on experience with web security, threat modeling, and programming/scripting, and will

Qualifications

• 2+ years of web security experience in non-internship roles.
• Proficiency with at least one programming language (Python, Java, etc.).
• Experience across SDLC security activities such as design reviews and threat modeling.

Responsibilities

• Independently solve security problems that require novel methods or approaches.
• Develop solutions to detect / prevent security issues at scale.
• Development of security automation tools.
• Influence your team’s and partners’ process, priorities, and choices to improve outcomes.
• Demonstrate and promote security best practices, drive improvements of Amazon’s overall security architecture.
