Qualifications

• 2+ years of web security experience (non-internship).
• Knowledge of system security vulnerabilities and remediation techniques, including penetration testing.
• Experience with web protocols and remediation practices.
• Experience solving problems by writing code or scripts with some assistance.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain automated security guardrails and paved paths across Amazon’s technology landscape.
• Engage early with development teams to embed security into applications from the start, guiding on secure architecture.
• Build automated, continuous security assessment capabilities that replace manual reviews at scale.
• Contribute code for security fixes and paved path solutions alongside developers.
• Partner with developers to build scalable, self‑service security tools for risk identification and remediation.
• Design preventive and detective security controls for continuous assurance.
• Collaborate with security stakeholders to define and drive long‑term security strategy and participate in on‑call rotations.
