Security Engineer - Post Quantum Cryptography

Experience & Skills

• Experience with certificate automation, including understanding of automation practices, certificate management, and scripting (PowerShell or Python).
• Advanced cryptography knowledge, especially related to post-Quantum cryptography algorithms and their impact.
• Experience with certificate lifecycle management and troubleshooting TLS communications.
• Familiarity with cloud security (Azure, AWS, Microsoft 365, Purview).
• Knowledge of data security, endpoint security, network security, and data governance.
• Ability to handle limited off-hour on-call support.
• Experience in incident response, security metrics, and compliance/audit preparation.
• Strong soft skills: problem-solving, communication, attention to detail, adaptability, and ethics.

Responsibilities

• Provide expertise in applying security concepts, designing, building, and maintaining solutions.
• Work with architecture teams on implementation details, sizing, and integration.
• Evaluate patches and updates, ensuring solutions align with standards and governance.
• Develop detailed documentation and implement solutions.
• Support operational transition and day-to-day support of existing technology.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of relevant experience.
• No specific certifications required, but relevant industry certifications are a plus.
