Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a senior red team specialist to conduct offensive security engagements across cloud, endpoints, and hardware deployments. You will simulate advanced threat actors, test high-value deployments, and contribute to AI-assisted testing tooling.

You will translate findings into risk insights for security roadmaps, document clearly for technical and executive audiences, and collaborate with blue and engineering teams on AI safety scenarios.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on red teaming and offensive security operations.
• Deep expertise in at least two domains (cloud security, macOS/Linux security, Kubernetes).
• Proven track record discovering novel attack vectors and chaining vulnerabilities.
• Experience conducting adversarial simulations against well-defended environments.
• Strong engineering skills in Python, Go, or similar; ability to write clear findings.

Requirements

• Deep expertise in at least two of: macOS security, Linux Security, Cloud security (GCP/AWS/Azure), Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines
• Track record of discovering novel attack vectors and chaining vulnerabilities creatively
• Experience conducting adversarial simulations against well-defended environments
• Strong engineering skills in Python, Go, or similar
• Ability to write clear findings that drive action and prioritize fixes
• Collaborative approach with the blue team
• Prior work at organizations with state actor threat models may be beneficial
• Interest in AI safety may be beneficial
• Background testing AI/ML systems or agentic workflows may be beneficial
• Familiarity with detection engineering and SIEM/EDR platforms may be beneficial
• Experience with data center security or hardware-based attacks may be beneficial
• Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience
• Relevant field of study demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience
• Visa sponsorship is available, subject to role and candidate circumstances
