Job summary

Qube Research & Technologies invites penultimate- or final-year students to join its Security team as interns. You’ll work on real production security problems, develop tooling, and collaborate with Cloud, Infrastructure and Network Operations teams.

You’ll gain hands-on experience across security engineering, vulnerability management, and security automation, with opportunities to showcase practical impact and learn from engineers in a high-performance research environment.

Qualifications

• Understanding of security principles and technologies (firewalls, IDS/IPS, vulnerability scanning, encryption).
• Programming or scripting experience (Python or Bash).
• Comfort with Linux/Unix system administration fundamentals.
• Networking knowledge (TCP/IP, Ethernet).
• Familiarity with monitoring/observability tools (Grafana, Prometheus, PromQL).

Responsibilities

• Work on real security problems and build tooling to automate workflows.
• Collaborate with Cloud, Infrastructure and Network Operations teams.
• Participate in vulnerability research, remediation testing, and security reviews.
• Help design and implement security controls across a high‑performance environment.
