Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. in San Diego is offering a Security Engineering Intern role as part of the Interns Group.

You will collaborate with world‑class engineers to enhance security of mobile, IoT, and connectivity devices, gaining hands‑on experience protecting real‑world systems from attacks. The internship runs 11–14 weeks in Summer 2027, with three tracks: Product Security Engineering, Secure Systems Engineering, and Cybersecurity Engineering.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s, master’s, or Ph.D. program in Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE), Computer Science (CS), Security, Information Systems, or a related field
• Must be available for 11–14 weeks during Summer 2027 (May–September)
• Expected graduation date of November 2027 or later
• Preferred candidates studying toward graduation between November 2027 and June 2028

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineers to enhance the security of mobile, IoT, and connectivity devices
• Gain hands-on experience protecting real‑world devices and systems from attacks
• Work cross‑functionally with engineers and stakeholders to secure complex infrastructure and applications
