Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a Security Engineer II to implement and maintain security controls across stores, systems, and data. You will work across email, identity, endpoint, data, cloud, and network security, following policies set by senior engineers.

You will handle incident response, changes, audits, and projects, with hybrid in-office presence in Phoenix Tuesday through Thursday, contributing to a secure, compliant retail environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
• 3+ years in information security or enterprise IT operations.
• Hands-on experience with at least one enterprise security platform (email, endpoint, identity, or data protection).
• Experience handling tickets in an ITSM system and following change-control processes.
• Ability to analyze security alerts and carry changes through to validated completion.

Responsibilities

• Implement and modify enterprise security controls across network, endpoint, cloud, identity, email, and data protection domains.
• Assess Azure workloads against hardening baselines and CIS benchmarks; implement remediations.
• Analyze security alerts and logs across tools like CrowdStrike NG-SIEM and coordinate responses.
• Troubleshoot security tooling, improve coverage, and document runbooks and tests.
• Participate in on-call rotation and escalate issues as needed.
