Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market, Inc. is seeking a Security Engineer II to implement and maintain security controls across store systems, cloud, and identity platforms.

You will handle alerts, incidents, and policy compliance with a mix of operational tasks and project work, reporting to the Store Support Office in Phoenix with a hybrid in-office schedule Tue–Thu. The role requires 3+ years in information security or enterprise IT operations, hands-on platform experience, and strong scripting skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• 3+ years of information security or enterprise IT operations experience.
• Hands-on experience operating at least one enterprise security platform in production.
• Working knowledge of security tooling and authentication technologies.
• Ability to analyze security alerts and carry changes through to validated completion.
• Clear written and verbal communication; ability to write runbooks.

Responsibilities

• Implement and modify enterprise security controls across networks, endpoints, cloud, identity, email, and data protection.
• Assess Azure workloads against hardening baselines and CIS benchmarks; remediate.
• Configure PoC environments, run validation testing, document results.
• Prepare security platform changes through change-management with test plans.
• Analyze security alerts and logs, determine disposition against severity matrix.
• Handle security incidents in ServiceNow; coordinate containment and remediation.
• Troubleshoot tooling; diagnose failures and remediate gaps.
• Use PowerShell and Python scripts for recurring tasks, with senior support.
• Administer identity controls in Okta and Entra ID; MFA, SSO, SCIM provisioning.
• Manage endpoint security across CrowdStrike, BeyondTrust, Intune, Kandji, Tanium.
• Analyze data loss prevention and email security alerts; approve quarantines/exceptions.
• Manage credentials, certificates, keys in enterprise vault; run rotations.
• Run vulnerability assessments and report status.
• Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation; first responder per procedures.
