Chainguard is seeking a Security Engineer to support IAM, AI, and cloud security. Bring hands-on IT or development experience and a solid foundation in security practices. You will work with senior engineers to protect cloud, AI, and identity systems in a fast-paced startup environment.

You’ll contribute to access controls, policy implementation, and infrastructure hardening while learning modern security techniques and broadening your expertise across multiple domains.

Qualificações

• Strong IT administration foundations and/or software development background.
• Hands-on experience in IAM, AI/ML infrastructure, or cloud platforms.
• Comfort with scripting, automation, and troubleshooting; good collaboration.

Responsabilidades

• Operate and sustain Chainguard’s platforms including cloud, IAM, and AI.
• Implement access controls, identity policies, and auth systems.
• Harden and monitor cloud infrastructure with senior architects.
• Secure AI/ML pipelines and agentic workflows as the company scales.
• Troubleshoot, automate, and document processes; contribute to runbooks.
• Adapt to shifting priorities and learn new tools as needed.
• Apply security best practices under guidance of senior engineers.
