Zusammenfassung

Augustus is building the US team from the ground up to redefine banking security. You will own security engineering end-to-end across application, infrastructure, and incident response, partnering with product and platform teams to design, implement, and ship security automation in production.

You will lead high-quality response when incidents break, enforce SSDLC, and drive remediation with clear risk tradeoffs.

Qualifikationen

• Extensive hands-on security engineering experience in production
• Demonstrated expertise securing cloud-based systems (IAM, networking, logging, key management) and CI/CD
• Proven experience building security automation/detection in production
• Experience in fintech/payments or regulated environments with audit requirements
• Experience with modern security tooling (SIEM/SOAR and cloud security platforms)
• Located in or willing to relocate to Berlin and in-office 3 days/week

Aufgaben

• Own security engineering end-to-end across application, infrastructure, and incident response
• Partner with product and platform teams during design and shipping security automation
• Lead high-quality response when security events occur and drive remediation with risk tradeoffs
• Define security in a greenfield modern bank and harden cloud/CI‑CD paths
• Build detection and response workflows and enable ongoing control evidence
