Job summary

Namespace is seeking a Security Engineer to own and strengthen security across our systems, network, and infrastructure. You will work with engineering and operations to identify vulnerabilities, implement security measures, and ensure security is embedded in how we build and operate.

You'll design and maintain firewalls, IDS/IPS, conduct audits, and develop security-first guidelines for the organization. A fast-moving team values ownership, execution, and real impact.

Qualifications

• Security engineer with hands-on production infrastructure experience.
• Experience with network security, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and vulnerability management.
• Ability to translate security risks into pragmatic technical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design and build firewalls, IDS/IPS to protect our servers, networks, and systems.
• Conduct security audits and vulnerability assessments.
• Develop measures to quickly detect and respond to real-time threats and vulnerabilities.
• Develop security-first guidelines for the entire organization to follow.
• Work closely with operations, developers, and other stakeholders to build and maintain a one-team approach to security.
• Support the sales team with security questionnaires and technical security requirements from customers.
