Job summary

Horizon Atlantic Solutions, a leading financial services company, is seeking a Security Engineer in Baltimore, MD. This full-time role will design, implement, and maintain security measures to protect our systems and data.

You will conduct risk assessments, monitor security systems, respond to incidents, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security best practices across all projects. Strong knowledge of SIEM, IDS, firewalls and scripting in Python/PowerShell is desired.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in security engineering or similar role.
• Experience with SIEM, IDS, firewalls.
• Knowledge of ISO 27001, NIST, or CIS.
• Proficiency in Python or PowerShell.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain security protocols to protect our systems and data.
• Monitor and respond to security incidents and vulnerabilities.
• Conduct security assessments and penetration testing.
• Develop and enforce security policies and procedures.
