Namespace Labs seeks a Security Engineer to own and strengthen security across our systems, networks, and infrastructure. You will identify vulnerabilities, implement security measures, and embed security into how we build and operate.

Qualifications

• Strong security engineering fundamentals across production infrastructure, systems and networks.
• Experience with network security, firewalls, IDS/IPS, vulnerability management, threat detection and response.
• Ability to translate security risks into pragmatic technical solutions.
• Solid understanding of security best practices across modern cloud and infrastructure environments.
• Ability to collaborate with engineering and operations to embed security into workflows.
• Bias toward execution and ownership in a fast-moving environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and build firewalls
• Develop IDS/IPS to fortify servers and networks
• Conduct security audits and vulnerability assessments
• Develop security measures for real-time threat detection and response
• Create security-first guidelines for the organization
• Collaborate with operations, developers, and stakeholders on security initiatives
