Job summary

AMH is seeking a Security Engineer in Las Vegas, NV to monitor, investigate, and respond to security events across company systems. You will review alerts, analyze logs, support incident response, and help with vulnerability scanning and remediation, while maintaining and optimizing cybersecurity tools and documentation.

The role requires strong communication, problem solving, and collaboration with IT teams, focusing on secure practices and risk management.

Qualifications

• Minimum three (3) years of experience in IT Security.
• Minimum three (3) years of experience in Cloud Technologies.
• Experience in vulnerability management and penetration testing.
• Experience in managing SIEM solutions and analyzing log streams.

Responsibilities

• Partners with teams to identify security violations and produces clear reports.
• Researches, tests, and implements security solutions with change management.
• Maintains IT Security Framework processes like incident and risk management.
• Performs vulnerability scanning and tracks remediation.
• Responds to incidents and provides incident reports.
