Job summary

Collibra is seeking a Security Engineer to join the Security Operations & Engineering team. You will design, build, and operate systems that safeguard data, infrastructure, and customers, embedding zero-trust principles and automation across cloud platforms.

You’ll work hands-on to strengthen our defense posture, lead incident response, and support audits while collaborating across teams to continuously improve security and resilience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Information Security or Security Engineering
• Knowledge of CI/CD workflows and Infrastructure as Code
• Experience securing cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Hands-on with SIEM, EDR, vulnerability management, and incident response tools
• Strong understanding of network and application security, IAM, and encryption
• Data analysis basics (SQL, Python)
• Bachelor’s degree in CS or Information Security
• US citizenship and US residence required
• Experience using AI tools to solve business challenges
• No visa sponsorship available

Responsibilities

• Designing secure architectures across cloud environments with zero-trust and IAM
• Managing threat detection, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing
• Leading incident response and using threat intelligence to detect and contain threats
• Ensuring compliance with security standards and auditing
• Supporting internal and external security audits with documentation
