Job summary

Allen Media Group is seeking a Security Engineer to design, implement and maintain security solutions across On-Prem, Hybrid and Cloud environments. You will lead deployment of proxies, IDS/IPS, remote access, MFA, SIEM, patching, and hardening, while documenting standards and ensuring compliance.

You will collaborate with global teams, apply industry frameworks (NIST/ISO), write automation scripts (Python, Ansible, PowerShell), and optimize security processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, Mathematics or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 1+ years of Information Security experience
• 3+ years demonstrated ability in an IT Engineering function
• Thorough knowledge of industry frameworks (NIST, ISO etc.)
• Technical proficiency in Google Cloud services, hybrid, and on-premise security solutions
• Technical proficiency with scripting tools (Python, Ansible, PowerShell)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to document processes and security designs clearly

Responsibilities

• Engineer security solutions and services for On-Premise, Hybrid and Cloud environments.
• Implement and support security technologies: proxies, IDS/IPS, remote access, MFA, SIEM, patch management.
• Own design, delivery and maintenance of security solutions; drive standards compliance.
• Apply security standards and industry frameworks to solutions.
• Identify inefficiencies and automate security processes.
• Coordinate remediation of risks and control deficiencies.
• Collaborate across global teams; communicate effectively.
• Be flexible to work outside regular hours as project life cycle requires.
