Job summary

Apollo Information Systems is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer to implement, manage, and optimize security, networking, and cloud technologies for clients. You will design solutions, deploy tools, and operate environments daily, working across security platforms and cloud services.

The successful candidate will blend product depth with practical engineering, collaborating with SOC, engineering, and PM teams in a mostly remote role with a Denver hub, and will contribute to secure, compliant

Qualifications

• Experience in cybersecurity, network administration, or systems administration, with hands-on engineering.
• Experience implementing and managing security and/or network technologies in production.
• Familiarity with common security tools (firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, EDR/MDR).
• Scripting or automation experience (PowerShell, Bash, Python).
• Strong analytical and communication skills for client-facing work.

Responsibilities

• Assess client environments against standards (NIST CSF 2.0, CIS, ISO 27001, CJIS, HIPAA, PCI DSS).
• Design secure solutions across cybersecurity, networking, and cloud.
• Configure, install, and maintain security products and services.
• Research and implement solutions to technical problems in client environments.
• Maintain deployed security, network, and cloud environments for reliability.
• Collaborate with SOC to refine SIEM rules and detections.
• Support client reports and analyses with data gathering.
