Job summary

Wwshemi in San Francisco, CA is seeking a hands-on security engineer to secure the systems behind our inference cloud. You will write code, review designs and own fixes, partnering with engineers to bake security into how we design, ship and operate software.

You’ll review designs for authentication, authorization, tenant isolation and data handling risks, build controls for identity and secrets, and help secure cloud configurations and incident response.

Qualifications

• Experience building and securing production software or cloud infrastructure.
• Strong programming and debugging skills to ship reliable fixes.
• Practical understanding of application security, cloud identity, Linux, networking and secrets.

Responsibilities

• Review designs for authentication, authorization, tenant isolation and data handling risks.
• Build and improve controls for identity, least-privilege access, secrets and service credentials.
• Partner on private networking, workload isolation and secure cloud configuration.
• Find, prioritize and fix vulnerabilities and verify remediation.
• Improve security logging, detection and incident response with practical tools.
• Support secure development through design and code reviews and automated checks.
• Provide technical evidence for audits and customer reviews with the compliance owner.
