Job summary

Inferact in San Francisco seeks a Member of Technical Staff, Product Security to safeguard the inference platform, APIs, control plane, and cloud infrastructure as it scales to production for enterprise customers.

This hands-on role involves threat-modeling new features, reviewing code, fixing vulnerabilities, and shipping secure defaults and guardrails that enable a small team to move fast with reduced risk. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams and own vulnerability management.

Qualifications

• Hands-on product or application security experience on software that customers run or depend on.
• Strong software engineering ability: read/write production code and ship fixes with tests.
• Experience threat-modeling distributed systems, APIs, services, and data isolation.

Responsibilities

• Threat-model new features with engineers and define secure design.
• Review and write code, find and fix vulnerabilities, and build secure defaults and guardrails.
• Collaborate with inference, infrastructure, product, and forward-deployed teams; manage vulnerability responses.
