Job summary

Latent seeks aSecurity Engineer to build and scale the security automation layer across cloud, AI, and IT systems. You will partner with engineers, product, and legal to enable rapid delivery without compromising security and compliance.

Responsibilities include securing the SDLC, implementing IAM and access controls, and automating security across MacOS/endpoint management, with a focus on proactive threat detection and incident response.

Qualifications

• Experience building security automations and workflows using AI.
• Designed and rolled out IAM workflows (Okta, SSO, SAML, JIT provisioning).
• Collaborated with developers to write secure code and secure features.
• Hardening AWS cloud and CI/CD environments and managing vulnerability programs.
• Automated security/compliance for MacOS and BYOD endpoints using MDM.
• Experience with security alerts, investigations, and detections.

Responsibilities

• Secure Latent's cloud, AI, and IT systems in production environments.
• Develop automation to secure the SDLC and product features.
• Implement secure-by-default processes for developers and security teams.
• Harden IT security for devices and applications, manage access provisioning.
• Investigate incidents, create detections, and improve MDR effectiveness.
• Partner with engineering, product, and GTM to balance risk and speed.
