LandEarly is seeking a Security Engineer to protect our auto-apply platform and user data. You will design and implement security controls across cloud, code, and CI/CD pipelines while collaborating with engineering to bake security into documentation and shipping.

You will monitor for threats, lead incident response, conduct threat modeling, and coordinate vulnerability testing. Strong communication and automation skills are essential to balance risk with product velocity.

Formación

• 3+ years of experience in a security engineering, application security, or infrastructure security role.
• Strong understanding of cloud security and modern web application architectures.
• Experience with security tooling such as SIEM, vulnerability scanners, and endpoint protection.
• Familiarity with secure SDLC practices and common frameworks (OWASP, NIST, SOC 2).
• Solid scripting or programming ability (Python, Go) for automation and tooling.
• Clear communicator who can explain risk and trade-offs to engineers and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsabilidades

• Design, implement, and maintain security controls across cloud infrastructure, application code, and CI/CD pipelines
• Monitor systems for suspicious activity, investigate alerts, and lead incident response when issues arise
• Perform security reviews of new features and integrations, including threat modeling for sensitive data flows
• Conduct and coordinate vulnerability assessments and penetration tests, and track remediation
• Partner with engineering teams to establish secure coding practices, access controls, and encryption standards
• Help build and maintain compliance-related processes (e.g., data protection, secure handling of user documents and credentials)
