Job summary

Aegis AI is seeking a Security Engineer to scale its security program across code, cloud, and pipelines. You will design guardrails, automate remediation, and collaborate with engineering and DevOps to make secure the fast path for product delivery.

You will own scanning, protection, and governance from day one, building secure-by-default paths and leading incident response initiatives as the team grows with the company.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in security engineering at a cloud-native company.
• Proficient in Python or Go and building guardrails.
• Deep expertise in cloud IAM and Kubernetes security.
• Fluent with CI/CD and hardened pipelines.
• Experience collaborating with engineers and product teams.

Responsibilities

• Own vulnerability management across code, dependencies, images, cloud config and external surface.
• Own and expand security gates in build and deploy pipelines to block vulnerable dependencies.
• Define secure baselines for cloud estate and automate remediation.
