Job summary

CACI is seeking a dedicated Security Engineer to support the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Office of the Inspector General (OIG). You will design, implement, and maintain security controls across AI platforms, data environments, and cloud infrastructure in Azure Government to protect sensitive data and enable secure analytics for national security investigations.

Candidates should have hands-on experience with RBAC, encryption, SIEM integration, and ATO processes, as well as strong

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 7+ years in cybersecurity or related field (eqs considered).
• Ability to obtain DHS/EOD clearance.
• Experience implementing security controls, access management, encryption, and logging for enterprise apps and cloud.
• Strong knowledge of NIST 800-53, FedRAMP, FISMA, and ATO support.
• Hands-on cloud security in Azure (or AWS/GCP) including IAM, network security, encryption, and monitoring.
• Experience with SIEM, log analysis, monitoring, and incident response.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain security controls across AI platforms and data environments.
• Enforce RBAC and data protection for SPII/LES/FOUO per DHS OIG.
• Integrate systems with SIEM and log aggregation for monitoring and incident response.
• Analyze logs and user behavior to detect unauthorized access and exfiltration.
• Support ATO processes with documentation, testing, and remediation evidence.
• Lead security testing including vulnerability assessments and secure code review.
• Develop security docs and conduct knowledge transfer.
