Job summary

FanDuel Group is seeking a Security Engineer to advance secure development practices across its products and services. You will deliver security projects, partner with engineering to identify risks early, and build tooling that makes secure development the path of least resistance for FanDuel engineering teams.

You will contribute to AI/LLM security, design AI Agents to automate controls, and apply industry frameworks to mitigate risks in a fast-paced, highly matrixed environment.

Qualifications

• Hands-on security engineering experience in the software development lifecycle.
• Proficient in at least one modern language (Python/Go).
• Strong understanding of secure coding practices and scalable tooling.
• Experience designing and implementing AI Agents/security controls in engineering workflows.
• Familiarity with AI/LLM security risks (prompt injection, model supply chain, data exposure).
• Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP/Azure).
• Knowledge of OWASP, MITRE ATT&CK, NIST frameworks and applying them.

Responsibilities

• Deliver security projects that support quarterly team goals and reduce risk.
• Partner with engineering to identify security risks from design to production.
• Build automation and tooling to simplify secure development at scale.
• Design and implement AI Agents that enforce security controls across the SDLC.
• Assess AI/LLM security risks and mitigate threats in AI-powered products.
• Collaborate with teams to promote security standards and trade-off discussions.
• Adapt the program to fill technical gaps as it evolves.
• Other duties as required.
