Job summary

French Lick Resort is seeking a Security Officer - EMT to protect life and property on property. You will respond to emergencies, perform patrols, and enforce rules. Must hold EMT-Basic in Indiana, CPR/First Aid, and a valid gaming license; English proficiency and 21+ age also required.

Role requires night/weekend shifts, background check, and strong communication skills. You will document incidents and coordinate with security supervisors to maintain safe operations across the resort.

Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma or HSED.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid gaming license.
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Must work nights, weekends and holidays as required.
• Background check and drug screening required.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must successfully complete CPR/First Aid Training.
• Must maintain EMT – Basic certification in Indiana.

Responsibilities

• Patrols buildings and grounds to ensure doors, windows, and gates are secure.
• Warns violators and expels suspicious or infringing individuals.
• Inspects equipment for tampering and reports irregularities.
• Records data on incidents and property damage.
• Generates daily/weekly security reports as assigned.
• Assists patrons and employees during emergencies and critical situations.
• Manages access control at associate entrances and checks belongings as needed.
• Coordinates with Security Supervisor on violations and investigations.
• Supports slot and table game operations as required.
