Job summary
Lantern Hill by Erickson Senior Living is seeking a Security and Emergency Services Officer II (EMR/EMT) for a per diem role at our gated retirement community. You will execute security and emergency services programs and provide community outreach.
The position offers EMT certification pay premium and requires CPR and EMR certification; valid driver's license and 18+ years old are required. Per diem shifts support patient-focused safety and wellbeing across Lantern Hill.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.
- Prior security and/or EMS experience preferred.
- Proactive, vigilant and detail-oriented approach with strong quality focus.
- CPR for Healthcare Providers certification required.
- EMR certification required or within 30 days of hire.
Responsibilities
- Perform regular patrols of the property and relief staffing for gatehouse.
- Enforce traffic and parking regulations.
- Respond to dispatch calls and security requests.
- Respond to medical emergencies and provide basic care.
- Follow up on reports of theft, vandalism, or suspicious activity.
- Coordinate with local police, fire, and EMS during emergencies.
- Complete incident reports using the online system.
